I’m Anastasiia, the artist and human behind Nusinks.
Art has been part of my life for as long as I can remember. I grew up watching my mother create with her hands, and some of my favorite childhood memories are of making things from whatever we could find — colors, grains, buttons, little objects that became something completely new in my imagination.
That curiosity never really left me.
In 2019, I discovered alcohol ink, and something clicked. I was fascinated by the way it moved — fluid, unpredictable, and almost impossible to completely control. I started taking classes, experimenting with different techniques, making plenty of messes, and slowly developing my own relationship with the medium.
In 2021, I began sharing my work under the name Nusinks — a combination of Nusik, a nickname used by my family and close friends, and inks.
What started as a place for my alcohol ink paintings has grown alongside me.
Today, I create original art, preserve pieces of nature in resin jewelry, host alcohol ink workshops and private creative experiences, and work with people as a coach.
At first, those things felt like very different parts of me. Now I see the connection between them.
I’m fascinated by creativity, nature, people, and what it means to be human.
I love creating spaces where adults are allowed to experiment, play, make something without needing to be good at it, and become curious about themselves in the process.
Sometimes that happens around a table covered in alcohol ink and hairdryers.
Sometimes it happens in a coaching conversation.
Sometimes I’m simply making something with my own two hands and seeing where it takes me.
My work continues to change as I do, and I think that’s part of the point.
Nusinks is where I get to explore all of it.
Thank you for being here and becoming a little part of that exploration.
